THIS. I used to be really happy with my GPA, glad I took a bunch of harder classes/those extra minors. Alas, no longer.
+1
Long before I applied to law school, here I was, sitting at home thinking about how a 3.63 from a rigorous school was great. HAH. The universe has since had a good laugh at my naivete.
my .01 below median gpa is making me wish i never wanted to try and learn a new language freshman year.
try being below median (by more than .01) for every single school you applied to. i just have to say thank goodness for a high lsat that will soften the blow, hopefully.

YES. Death to new languages in graded classes.

Around 7pm, this thread's gonna really get going, at which point I will have lost all hope and joined the USS Pessimism. :?

Sigh, after all the excitement late last week, I don't know how well I'll hold up beyond the next ~1 day.
Aww. Hugs.

SADFKHAJKSDFJHKLJASDFLKJSDAHFKJADSF IN AT NYU!!!

This time last year I thought there was no way I would ever attend a Top 5 law school. I'm beside myself with excitement. If my cycle ended today I'd be perfectly satisfied. AHHHHHH

Submitted 10/3, RD, stats on LSN (in profile).

Does anyone who lives in NYC get the purple envelop today?

I didn't get one over the weekend and am afraid to be sad to check the mailbox tonight :(

I'm right there with you... so far it's been the latter. Definitely not feeling any motivation right now.

CONGRATS TINTIN!!! Man I am freaking out, this morning they said they hadn't sent me anything, and I sent them an email asking to send stuff to my permanent address, where I will be going on Sunday. Now I'm wondering when they're going to send something, I'm ED, so I'm hoping this means I'm in?? HEART ATTACK.

+1. I can't focus at all now. Especially because of the fact that I'm studying for finals at a school that, if I were to go to NYU, no one would ever have heard of.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
