Does anyone happen to know how long it normally takes for the scholarship application form to come via email along with the chance to schedule an interview? Does the Mordecai interview invite usually come at the same time as the other interview invite if it comes? Finally, do the Mordecai people wind up doing two interviews (one for the Mordecai and one for other scholarships)?

Not sure if this has already been discussed, but for those of you who have been admitted, how long until you heard about signing up for scholarship interviews?

I got an email about the scholarship application (which includes the interview sign up) and the CSS profile about 4 days after I was admitted.seventiesbaby wrote:Not sure if this has already been discussed, but for those of you who have been admitted, how long until you heard about signing up for scholarship interviews?

Re: Duke c/o 2021 Applicants (2017/18)
Hey all, checking in super late (Submitted late last year, UR1 1/4)! So...I went ahead and sent my FAFSA to all the schools I applied to even though I only heard back from one so far. Is it safe to go ahead and submit my CSS profile to all the schools (including Duke) that require it preemptively so that they have all the required information to make scholarship decisions as soon as possible?
I'd rather do it now so that there are as few roadblocks as possible, especially since I applied relatively late in the cycle (after Dec LSAT release during the holiday break).
Anyone do this for Duke?

I received the Mordecai nomination the same day as the regular scholarship email. That was the first wave of scholarship emails so that might not always be the case.edcat wrote: Does anyone happen to know how long it normally takes for the scholarship application form to come via email along with the chance to schedule an interview? Mordecai interviews are with Dean Hoye whereas it sounds like standard scholarship interviews are with other folks in the office. The interview questions are similar from what I've seen here, so I doubt you'd end up doing an additional interview if you interviewed for but did not receive the Mordecai.

Finally, FINALLY, went UR1 after going complete in the first of December. Why is Duke taking so long with non-PT applicants? Is it because they're combing through all the PTs first?

Re: Duke c/o 2021 Applicants (2017/18)
Having guaranteed decision dates for PT and ED probably sucks up a lot of their time. RD is the only one of the 3 ways to apply where they don't commit to a date, so naturally they will make those decisions last.saltshaker wrote:Finally, FINALLY, went UR1 after going complete in the first of December. No lol you're good. For what it's worth last year asw was on 3/24 and the formal notice/invite email went out the second week of February. It was from the Hoye email you're probably getting the weekly newsletters for and the RSVP was a link.Ntp73821 wrote:I didn’t already miss a sign up for ASW right? I'm surprised they didn't mention it, it was mentioned in my interview both times so I thought it was a thing, they might have just forgot to mention it, my interviewer almost did this time around
