Anyone that submitted in mid December still waiting to go complete?

I submitted 11/19 and didn't go complete until 12/16. About a month wait time has been pretty standard from what I've seen

Does anyone know if Michigan's financial aid offers (not named scholarships) are based only on stats? I worry because though I really like Michigan and want to attend, they denied my request for a fee waiver, and never mailed me any promotional materials so I feel kind of isolated like they don't think it is statistically likely that I will attend.

How late is too late to send in a Why Michigan essay? I went complete over a month ago, and I've been upset at myself that I didn't send one in, especially since I have things to write.

I just got an email from financial aid about consumer information. Did everyone get this before getting an award offer? Or just after acceptance?

+1. Hoping it's either an auto-email everyone got this morning or something that comes before an award letter rather than in place of it.

I got accepted the day before the admissions office closed for the holidays and just got that email, so I think it might just go out periodically to the newest batch of admits, because I doubt I've been much considered for scholarship yet... or they auto-denied my scholarship and the email is a bad sign who knows

Now feeling a wee bit sad I didn't get a Darrow invite as many with stats the same (or even a little lower) than mine got one

But that's just me being selfish, because 120k is still good

Not based only on stats, in my experience. I was admitted off the WL slightly below both medians (a few years ago) and still received a scholarship. Not a very big one though.

Do they update status checker date every day EVEN with NO real status change?

Mine is stil complete, as it has been since December 20th. But the status update date was 1/3/2017. I am curious if this means there is actually updates with my file (I did receive a new lsat score yesterday) or they just change the date to today's date.

I really like the opportunity to start in the summer, yet at the same time worried about starting at May 30th, feeling that I won't be ready for schools in 5 months. Well, I have to get in first

Scholarship email said, "Please be aware that once we have awarded a merit scholarship, it is not our practice to “compete” with awards from other schools."
