Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
FWIW, I received my acceptance w/out an interview. LSAT>75%, GPA<25% and non-URM. Seems like a lot of others here were accepted w/out interviews too. I don't think you should be worried. Good luck!Cocoron wrote:Yeah, I know from this thread that they've been doing interviews in my city. I'm not sure how to evaluate your GPA given that you're URM. I think depending on how far below 25 percentile you might wait a bit longer, but you'll probably get in.

I applied in September and haven't heard anything at all. What does this mean?

"Application completed"benwyatt wrote:acceptme2019 wrote:I applied in September and haven't heard anything at all. What does this mean?Well, since I'm Dean Andy Cornblatt, let me answer that for you.
Who knows?
What are your stats? If you're on the lower end, they're probably going to wait longer. If you're a splitter/reverse splitter, you're probably going to have a longer wait.
What does your status checker say?
163 and 3.77 so i know my gpa is fine but my lsat is a little bit low. i don't care if i don't get in or get waitlisted, i just want to know already the suspense is killing me.

Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I just got invited to interview at GULC. I'm looking forward to it and hope that I am able to locate an alumnus who is close to this small town I'm in, as I don't have a car at undergrad.
Wish me luck, guys and gals

I think the mental health of people in this thread would be well served by talking about things other than decision timing
. Anyone apply ED/PT?

Don't apply ED, under only exceptional circumstances apply PTAlive97 wrote:I think the mental health of people in this thread would be well served by talking about things other than decision timing. Anyone apply ED/PT?

For those falling under those circumstances, the ED and PT combo would seem swell, since you're not getting financial aid anyway.buckiguy_sucks wrote:Don't apply ED, under only exceptional circumstances apply PTAlive97 wrote:I think the mental health of people in this thread would be well served by talking about things other than decision timing. Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
The application claims that they make a decision within three weeks of ED complete. Those who applied in the first several weeks had to wait a little longer. I spoke with a rep at the LSAC forum and she said that they are back on track to meet the three week decision mark. Add a few days for mail delivery.mikesmith19 wrote:For anyone that applied Early Decision Binding, how long was it between completion and response date? Thanks!
Good luck!

Interested in this as well. I was under the impression that admissions reached out if they want us to interview.mornincounselor wrote:These 250-word responses are strange. I've read through them a couple of times and nothing really jumps out at me. Lol, the only advice I can think of is "Retake, or don't go." I don't really want to wait any longer to submit. Guess I'll probably just skip that step and focus on the interview.
We sign up for that after we apply, right?

Decided not to do the 250. I spent a long time on my PS and DS and I really love both of them. Spent a week on the 250 and editing and then trashed it. I figure since my PS and DS are great, a lame 250 would only count as a negative.
