Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
I went complete end of November and am still hanging on. I submitted a LOCI last week and the office confirmed me last Friday that they added it to my file. At this point, what are my chances? Their ASW is April 8-9, so I'm wondering if the office will try to get as many people as they can in so they can attend?
How many students are the in Stanford Law Class of 2019 Facebook group so far? And how active is Stanford at picking people off their waitlist? Is the waitlist large to begin with?
Sorry for the list of questions... trying to figure out where I stand!

I have nothing to offer you except a compliment about how much I like your 'tar.thepowerofflight wrote:In a similar boat, submitted late October and LOCI January which was acknowledged a couple weeks later, but no other news.Unsure of my status... so are acceptances likely to roll through this month, or is next month more likely? Anyone have any reads? It seems SLS is especially hard to gauge.

You can enter in Stanford and the admissions cycle you want to look at, and it will give you a graph showing when admissions decisions typically come out. Keep in mind this is based on a small, self-reported sample.
What you'll find for Stanford is that it's pretty up in the air, decisions will trickle in up until the end of April (so you won't necessarily receive a decision before ASW).

Thanks for the chart! Wow, that's not pretty, though... Almost certainly will get dinged later this month.

Well, it's a game of last man standing. If you go a day without getting dinged, that's a good thing!thepowerofflight wrote:Thanks for the chart! Wow, that's not pretty, though... Almost certainly will get dinged later this month.

I do think some acceptances are sure to be coming soon, though. So, stay tuned friends and try not to go completely bonkers.

Re: Stanford C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
I interpret this to mean that most of us--with rare exception--will be waitlisted or even dinged at the end of April, after Stanford counts up their deposits on or around April 15 and before their "promised" notification date of April 30. Then, for those on the waitlist, the waiting continues...thepowerofflight wrote:Thanks for the chart! Wow, that's not pretty, though... Almost certainly will get dinged later this month.

Would someone be kind enough to share a sample of LOCI?

Yup, just double checked. Sent to admissions@law.stanford.edu. I don't know any other way of checking if they got it besides emailing them again....GoogleWasMyIdea wrote:You sure you sent it to the right email address? You should email again or call to ask. I sent in mine 1pm EST today and got a confirmation email by dinner. I specifically asked them to reply when they receive my email, though.

Included lsac# in both email and letter. I'm going to call the office first thing tomorrow and check if they received it. Thanks everyone!GoogleWasMyIdea wrote:Did you include your lsac number in the email or letter?AriGold33 wrote:Yup, just double checked. Sent to admissions@law.stanford.edu. I didn't get a response for a month so I sent it again. They said they'd already gotten it, so you can ask but I'd bet it's been received. If It counts for anything I haven't been dinged yet and this was a couple weeks ago, so I wouldn't read too far into itAriGold33 wrote:Yup, just double checked. Sent to admissions@law.stanford.edu.
