Re: c/o 2019 Applicant Compendium (2015 - 2016)
Have any of you finalized the schools you're applying to? I'm sure I'm applying to HYSCCN, Virginia, Duke, and Northwestern, but I'm less sure about Berk, Penn, Michigan, Cornell, and Georgetown (probably going to include Cornell and Michigan due to generous merit aid reputations). Anyone have any thoughts or insights?

Depending on grades and getting more direction once I'm in school, considering regulatory biglaw (have relevant WE and super strong ties to DC), bigfed (again, relevant WE and ties to DC), or JAG. Outside of jobs that really only exist in DC, don't care where I end up as long as I'm employed.urbanist11 wrote:Where do you want to end up? I'm thinking Cornell is worth an application if only as a pawn in my overthought Machiavellian scholarship negotiation strategy.urbanist11 wrote: I would also throw one to Penn and GTown. Could probably skip Berkeley, Michigan, and Cornell based on goals

Is anyone willing to review a draft of my essay for NYU's Root-Tilden-Kern scholarship? Happy to reciprocate with your PS, DS, or scholarship essays.

Not writing one, but a page sounds right to me.basedvulpes wrote:How long is everyone's diversity statement? I'm right at a page after a couple of revisions, but now I can't seem to find any guidance at all from schools.

On another note, has anyone else seen this and really wanted to buy it? Like, I'm probably going to buy this.

Thank god. Nerf and other toys like them were getting pretty weak there for a while. I'll be even happier when they decide to bring back this bad boy:Dcc617 wrote:On another note, has anyone else seen this and really wanted to buy it? Like, I'm probably going to buy this.
