So I submitted on the 12/14 and am UR as of yesterday (1/5). I don't remember if I was UR before 1/5 as well so I have no idea if this is UR1 or UR2. Did anyone who applied around 12/14 go UR2 yet?

I'm in the same boat. I don't remember the exact date I submitted but it is close to yours and now my status checker says "Under Committee Review".

Are we aware if they make scholly offers on the phone at all? I doubt I'll get one but I'm quite curious.

I believe they come out later. And some will have separate applications.

Submitted my ED2 app last night. What should I be expecting to hear next and when? Did anyone submit near last final day ED1?

I'm feeling a big call wave either today or tomorrow. All us UR2 12/14ers will have our waiting ended.

First decisions of the new calendar year have been released on January 9th the last two cycles. Since the 9th falls on a Saturday this year, it should happen before then this cycle, right?

I'm expecting Friday but thinking it might be tomorrow as well.

So my latest date change is 1/5. I think it's UR2 (I'm pretty sure I was UR 12/14 before this). How good of a sign is this?

FYI I am above both 75th's... but I didn't write a Why Penn.

On that note, is there a way of submitting one now? (applied 11/1)
Also, should I send updated transcripts from Fall 2015 to show that my (pretty good) GPA stayed the same? (if so, how?)

I went UR1 on 11/30 and am still at UR1, so I feel your pain. Though I am pretty sure everyone goes under UR2 before being given a decision, but I could be wrong.
