Semi stuck at CR2 as well. Not complaining, I'm sure they're swamped with February scores that just came out.

Went to visit USC today, and WOW. That's all I have to say. Praying for an acceptance, it's my first choice.

The FB is still full of people who won't seriously consider USC, so I'm sure there will be many more acceptances. It shouldn't take this long, this is all about lame YP and US news BS..

T-shirt time.

It's a pretty nice design. Excited to wear it in the winter and wish I was going to USC.

I agree! People need to start withdrawing to allow some more acceptances to people who are stoked on USC :/

Hello - long-time lurker here! I’ve finally registered b/c the wait is starting to take its toll…

I went Complete 1/12 and I haven’t seen any movement on my file. I know others stayed at complete for several months (or longer!), but I’m wondering if anyone else from January Completes is still stuck there also.

Also, on my status checker, the LOR section has some errors. My rec writers all have professional prefixes or suffixes, yet on the page, these are all mismatched to the wrong writer. Since the letters are sent via LSAC, the actual letters will not contain this mismatch (won’t affect my file) so I dismissed this as a clerical/inputting error. But now, I’m itching for any communication – do you think it would be a good idea to alert admissions of the discrepancy and then use the email to reiterate my interest in USC (like a LOCI)?

I don’t want to annoy admissions especially after the Feb score influx, but I just want to be under review (& well, get in, of course)!!

i think that's what i would do! just shoot them an email, telling them the error, then say sth like USC is still my top choice etc etc...

Rejected. Just got my letter. Was decision finalized 2/26. Not a USC alum. Oh well, it was a reach for me anyway.

Good luck everyone! Keep your hopes up!

Edit: 161, Superior GPA (International applicant)

Gotta say I'm getting a little nervous since my LSAT is lower than the dings being reported. I'm already in CR2, but would sending in a Why USC? either today or tomorrow work toward my advantage? I have an updated transcript (GPA only increased by .01 but hey, it increased) going out through LSAC soon anyway.

I just received the rejection letter. They made a perfunctory mention of me being an alum. It's sad that the director couldn't even give the simple courtesy of actually signing the letter.

In all sincerity, congratulations to all of the admits. :)

I think going through CR2 is a good sign, so don't worry. It wouldn't hurt to send in a Why USC? essay (although I don't remember it being in the requirements). Good luck!

Rejected outright. A little surprised, since my stats aren't that far off from their medians. I guess they aren't hurting from the general decline in apps.

Just sent one with an updated resume. Not sure if it's too late but, at this point, why not? Fingers crossed!

I think they're free application helped boost their numbers relative to other schools. Sorry to hear about your decision, though.

Long time lurker here as well, would you mind PM-ing me the details as well? USC is at the top of my list but I definitely need to negotiate before committing to anything. Thanks!
