I'm still waiting on 10 schools so I'm debating if I should try and update my application with Why essays and Diversity Statements and shit like that. If it's just my GPA is too low then well whatever nothing I can do about that.
There is no gpa floor. I was offered money with a lower GPA. I did submit a diversity statement and an addendum with my app.
Are you a URM? Was your LSAT higher? WE/super sorts? OOS?
I'm an in state UMR. >2.2 GPA, <172 LSAT. International work and volunteer experience.

How long after being accepted did people receive scholarship info? And is it by mail or email?

S/He's going to law school, why would you expect him to be able to read? (sarcasm)

I guess it's just been a horribly slow week? LSN only has 1 admit, 1 waitlist, and 1 ding this week.

Does UT seldom offer fee waivers? I didn't apply to my own alma mater because of this lol. Or do they do something similar to Columbia, and wait until the final weeks to gratuitously hand them out?

I know they offered fee waivers to all in-state applicants early in the admissions process (Sept/Oct).

I got one (OOS) back in October but the e-mail said that applications must be in before November 1. I missed that deadline and was prepared to pay but LSAC indicated that the fee was waived.

Yes, it is considering they've had my app for 3 months.

another friendly reminder to check your spam folder for scholarship emails. No way I would have ended up at UT had I not noticed the letter had been sitting there for a month.

Checking in here. Submitted my app on 1/20 and still waiting for results.

I am an international student but currently attending my undergraduate school in Houston.

I LOVE TEXAS.

Three months this week since I was rolled over from ED. It was my first application submitted. Not a word since then. I'm hoping the Why Texas requests mean we'll all see some movement soon.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
