Anybody know if they have a GPA floor? I'm concerned if it's because my GPA is too low or if my application is shit. 2.45/172. I'm still waiting on 10 schools so I'm debating if I should try and update my application with Why essays and Diversity Statements and shit like that. If it's just my GPA is too low then well whatever nothing I can do about that.

How long after being accepted did people receive scholarship info? And is it by mail or email?

As far as I can tell, not a lot of movement from UT this week.. Anyone hear anything? Specifically other held ED applicants?

I guess it's just been a horribly slow week? LSN only has 1 admit, 1 waitlist, and 1 ding this week.

same, as a held ED applicant. Guessing it's been a busy week, just not on the actual decisions front.

Does UT seldom offer fee waivers? I didn't apply to my own alma mater because of this lol. Or do they do something similar to Columbia, and wait until the final weeks to gratuitously hand them out?

I know they offered fee waivers to all in-state applicants early in the admissions process (Sept/Oct).Oskosh wrote:Does UT seldom offer fee waivers? I got one (OOS) back in October but the e-mail said that applications must be in before November 1. I missed that deadline and was prepared to pay but LSAC indicated that the fee was waived.Oskosh wrote:Does UT seldom offer fee waivers? I didn't apply to my own alma mater because of this lol. another friendly reminder to check your spam folder for scholarship emails. No way I would have ended up at UT had I not noticed the letter had been sitting there for a month.

Re: University of Texas C/O 18 Applicants
Three months this week since I was rolled over from ED. It was my first application submitted. Not a word since then. I'm hoping the Why Texas requests mean we'll all see some movement soon.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
