When I applied to Michigan I also emailed and told them that I "preferred" summer semester because they do ED for regular term admissions and they may be more likely to roll you over if you're indifferent about which term you start.scotth724 wrote:Complete... They're toying with me.

I thought ED was only for summer? I figure it's too late for me to email them.... Since I want summer.ProbsNStats wrote:When I applied to Michigan I also emailed and told them that I "preferred" summer semester because they do ED for regular term admissions and they may be more likely to roll you over if you're indifferent about which term you start.scotth724 wrote:Complete... Finally submitted. Wanted it in before Thanksgiving but I needed to refine my PS and Why Michigan a little more. Ah well, worth it. Go Blue (please be nice to us splitters)

Splitter bro here who got accepted. Michigan is decently splitter friendly, I think they want that 169 back.Gungnir wrote:Finally submitted. Wanted it in before Thanksgiving but I needed to refine my PS and Why Michigan a little more. Ah well, worth it. Go Blue (please be nice to us splitters)

It couldn't hurt. The way I was told, some ED people are admitted for Fall. Maybe call and get some kind of clarity and to mention preference.scotth724 wrote:But wait do you think I should email them???ProbsNStats wrote:When I applied to Michigan I also emailed and told them that I "preferred" summer semester because they do ED for regular term admissions and they may be more likely to roll you over if you're indifferent about which term you start.scotth724 wrote:Complete... No, lol, I wasn't checking it every day. I'm sure it was updated earlier on the status checker, but I'm waiting for letters/e-mails from my schools so I don't drive myself insane.neprep wrote:You didn't find out via status checker?HorseThief wrote:In via snail mail. Has anybody gone from incomplete --> complete or complete --> admit on Saturday or Sunday? I know my date has changed every day but has anybody's actual status changed?

To maybe quiet the nerves of people who applied before me, I have a Ph.D in philosophy, and a few publications in good to elite philosophy journals. LSAT 173, GPA 3.54.
