Speaking as someone who was on it, there definitely was some action throughout the summer (across all three epic waitlists).
Getting nightmares just thinking about that process.....

Seriously.
Lesson: avoid the reserve at all cost.

A classmate of mine got in the day before classes started so as far as last minute poachings go, "it aint over til its over." I was also on hold (went from ed - defer into rd - hold) and can say there was a fair amount of movement that cycle.

RD applicant, also got an e-mail about submitting fall grades. Sort of inconvenient since I'll need to fax or snail mail the LSAC transcript request form to my university's registrar's office from home, but hey I guess it's a good thing I'm still being considered.

Hey man! I remember seeing you all the time on the Oct LSAT thread posting how you were killing cambridge sets. Glad to see we all made it to the other side.

Definitely man, getting that score back was one of the best feelings in the world. Hard work most certainly pays off.

at this point, no RD applicants have received decisions right? And we dont expect any to be released until January?

Every time someone posts itt, I think more ED admits have gone out and start to feel a wave of dread when I see my static gmail tab.

I feel you on the gmail tab. Every time one comes in I get so excited only to be disappointed by more Amazon spam.

Yeppp. This. I also used to rarely answer calls from phone numbers I didn't know and I would wait for them to leave a message because of spam calls... Now I quickly consider if the area code could be from somewhere I applied and sometimes I'll answer...

I thought I was the only one who kept watching the gmail tab. The worst is when you get something in, and it's from a TTT so for a split second you see that it's a law school e-mail, before you realize it's junk

this has been the worst part of this whole process imo, far worse than essays, studying for the lsat, etc.
