Just had my interview with Kara, and I felt like I rocked it. Kara was nice and easy to talk with. The interview started a few minutes late, and it lasted just over 10 minutes. They were behind schedule, so she seemed a little rushed. But, that aside, it went pretty well.
...Her name is Karen. Did you call her Kara?
lol. Maybe KB didn't notice?
I think end of May/early June is consistent with previous cycles according to the graphs in the OP.

The truth must be told. Besides, it all turned out fine:

I blame it on Skype.
Good. That would be awkward.

I read that thing saying "who is Kara? does he mean Karen?"
At first I thought he called the office and someone named Kara answered the phone.

skype was freezing from time to time during the interview, so it was tough to hear at some points during our conversation

And I might as well mail my second deposit to Cornell if that's the case.

As much as I would like it to be earlier, I think I remember there being interview slots next week. If that's the case, I wouldn't realistically expect anything until at least the week of the 13th.

Maybe all the post-WL JS2s went out today and they just skipped over all TLS users.

There's a pretty large chunk of open slots the week of the 13th. If they intend to fill those slots, it would make sense to hold off on JS2s until they finish up with this first round of JS1s so they can consider every JS1 for admissions. That puts the first wave of JS2s the week of the 20th at the earliest

Crazy thought:? Seems like JS/KB1s typically go one of two ways: (1) oddly pleasant, short, and light-hearted; and (2) pretty serious, longer, and mildly pleasant. Maybe we could add this to the WL spreadsheet. It could really help next year’s TLS Wait class—a group of kids for whom I have some serious sympathy.
PS: Helix is a liar. He's lying.

Is this helix's signature drink? He didn't come to the bar with us in Ithaca so I never found out.

Actually never tried JB - really love my single malts though. Cold nights in law school, be warned: You're about to get destroyed by some bottles from Islay.

To be fair, I just said he didn't come to the bar. He did drink the free beer at the restaurant with us.
