I applied PT around 1/5. Live in DC. Looks like I'm still complete 1/30. No idea what's going on there...jone7007 wrote:Has anyone who applied part-time received a scholarship? I previously posted this question but no one could confirm the answer.
I did more digging and found Official ABA Data as of 2012, of 304 PT GW students 23 recieved grants. The median amount was $7,500.
Here is the link if anyone needs it. http://www.lsac.org/lsacresources/publi ... ba5246.pdf
Also, I applied late and my application is pending. Can anyone else who applied part-time tell me how long before they received a response?

Meet and mingle, ten minute speech by the interim dean, mingle more. Passed wine and appetizers. I thought I would want to talk to other admitted students and school officials, but the alumni were the most interesting. Chat them up if you can. Everyone was very friendly, a real mix. Cal Club is way nicer than a conference room at the Fairmont though.scretcher wrote:Anybody want to give me a rundown of the LA reception? I'm going to the SF event tomorrow.

And I'm sure the Cal Club was amazing, but I'm sucker for the SF skyline so I won't be too bitter

I thought it was business casual as well, although a jacket ended up being necessary. I'm sure that was because of the california club though as opposed to the school itself. Most interesting part to me was talking to some professors for 1L's. I really enjoyed that they were there, as well as the interim dean, to talk to rather than just the normal group of admissions and alumni people. They really do their best to try and sell you on the school. Alumni were pretty interesting as well, it was nice seeing young alumni there, I feel like they were much cooler to talk to, because they weren't old, and they actually had recent knowledge of going to the school

Withdrawn, $120,000 scholarship. I'm currently a GW undergrad, so it was a little sad to see a "Okay thanks, your application has been officially withdrawn" email from the very familiar gwu.edu account. But hope the $$ goes to one of you all! Good luck to everyone! and for those considering attending, I'm sure you'll like the school

Status just changed to "Decision Made." It says it could take up to 10 days to notify me... via email. Is this how long it usually takes? Or should I expect an email today?
