Early November complete.
"I survived the first wave of Yale rejections." Can I put that on my resume?

Due to your aforementioned cuteness, I hope you do NOT get into YLS since I have no shot at getting in.hyjintherye wrote:Checking in here. Application complete a few days ago.

Damn I'm getting close, huh. Didn't realize. Might make "1000th post" thread in the lounge to fit in.

It would be funnier if you dated and didn't realize the connection until one of you made a joke about it a year into the relationship.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Why... Are you not even a girl? Cuz I do not see the humor in thathyjintherye wrote: it'd be funny if we actually end up in the same school haha

I know it says on the website that the majority of their acceptances usually go out in March--does this cycle seem on time to everyone? I feel like most schools are a little late (excepting NYU), but I'd like to tell myself that YLS is going to be early.
Complete first few days of December.

Checking in. Was uncertain about attending Yale due to my wife's employment, but after a lot of research and indecision we have agreed that whatever employment compromise she encounters by living in New Haven will be offset by the fact that its... well... Yale.
Yale is a big reach for me as a 4.04/172, but I'm not sure I could live with the "What if?" if I never applied.

And then we thought back to this post, and realized that you were a psychic, and sought you out for other future-telling, but you ignored us because you were at Yale and we were only at SLSMr. Elshal wrote:It would be funnier if you dated and didn't realize the connection until one of you made a joke about it a year into the relationship.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Why... Truth... unless you have killed someone. Have you killed someone? (And been caught)Yukos wrote:lol nothing is a reach at 4.0+/172.MAHamlin wrote:Checking in. That's the important bit. No law school application asks if you've committed a felony for which you were never accused.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Truth... unless you have killed someone. Perhaps "reach" isn't the right word. I'm just trying to manage my expectations. 172 isn't an awesome LSAT for Yale and because of family and work commitments I haven't been able to join a million awesome organizations or found the time to cure something interesting like insomnia. I doubt that being a parent of two with some work experience offsets my lack of extracurriculars so I'm approaching this with minimal optimism.
