Nothing really all that special. I had a big leadership post in college and am currently in my 2nd year of TFA, so good softs but nothing ridiculous. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get some good news!

So, is it that they are giving applications to individual professors or an admissions committee? Is that why admissions are trickling in seemingly random order?

I should have known my UG dean would forget to send in the certifying statement.

I specifically told my UG dean to email me when he was done. Paid the 35 bucks to courier the statement to stanford directly.

+1 but trying to stay positive because it seems their decisions don't follow a strict order as much as the others. Or maybe I'm delusional.

I know some schools will ask professors who may not typically be on the adcom to read certain applications, but I'm not sure if that is the case w/ Stanford. I am pretty confident based on what I've read that the number of adcom members that read an application varies between applicants so that could be affecting the decision order.

Wow. I spent all day hoping to avoid a hold from Harvard, and instead I get a voicemail from Dean Deal. SO THRILLED. Don't ask me how I managed it, because I have no idea (I literally went to my LSAC app to see if I'd accidentally checked off a URM or something).
