Got put on "priority reserve." 168/3.94. Can someone explain exactly what that means? I assume it's because of the lower lsat.

Based on a few LSN profiles and reading through some posts from last year, it looks like not until late February. Not sure about the Mordecai invites, though.lawschoolboundfuture wrote:When should we expect to hear about financial awards from Duke (I got accepted in September). If my app went complete 11/26, should I expect to hear back 12/6 ? Has anyone applied around this time?

I too went complete 11/26 (PT). We should expect to hear back by 12/6, assuming you are also PT. Good luck.anxiousprelaw wrote:If my app went complete 11/26, should I expect to hear back 12/6 ? Has anyone applied around this time?

In via email as of Friday night! Very excited, and very surprised due to their increased reliance on Priority Reserve.

My understanding is that they'll review your app again later in the cycle and make a decision based on the applicants/deposits they've gotten at that point, and if your app has changed/improved at all.Intrigue wrote:Got put on "priority reserve." 168/3.94. It's looking like PR is being used as a big YP tool.

Question for regular, non-PT/ED folks: how long did it take you to go from Complete;RfR to UR?

I was hoping somebody could make me feel better, but I guess I'll play that role for you... RfR since 11/14. :sadface:wisteria wrote:I've been Complete;RfR since 11/19....jym_dawg wrote:Question for regular, non-PT/ED folks: how long did it take you to go from Complete;RfR to UR?
Some schoos are notorious for moving to UR slowly (eyes on you, Penn) but it's kind of surprising how long it's taking Duke. Perhaps it has something to do with the volume of PT applicants...

What does it mean if I haven't got the acceptance phone call so far even though my application went complete in late Oct.? Does it mean I'm out of the game? My LSAT is 169 and I'm an international applicant so I don't have a UGPA.

Second update on UR today, 12/04. (First went UR on 11/28, ED) According to last year's Duke forum around this time of year, second update was not terrible news. But who knows. I'm still terrified.

Why do you think that a second UR update is a bad thing??beetleneedle wrote:Second update on UR today, 12/04. (First went UR on 11/28, ED) According to last year's Duke forum around this time of year, second update was not terrible news. But who knows. I'm still terrified.

I'm totally not a fit, number wise, so I just autumatically get freaked out. Also, I haven't seen too many ED results on here or LSN so I don't know what to expect...anxiousprelaw wrote:Why do you think that a second UR update is a bad thing??beetleneedle wrote:Second update on UR today, 12/04.
