BU, I had them in a negotiation fight during my admissions cycle. After visiting Fordham, I realized I'd rather die and go to the seventh circle of hell than spend one year there, unlike BU, where I get drunk, go to hockey games, and get sick grades.
Yeah I visited Fordham. Surprised the building is still standing, it's so run down. But apparently they will have a new one by the time the class of 2015 hits their 3L year.

*gasps* Blasphemy! For some reason, I've always felt like BU was a more prestigious institution than BC, despite the peer ranking and similar job prospects.

Maybe for law, but I think institutionally, taken as a whole, BC has the better name, at least in New England.

That is because you are a tool, and all tools self-select into BC.

TITCR - BC definitely has the better name in New England. Which is weird since BU's law and business programs are stronger IMO.
But you'll still hear this: "you should be able to get into BU, or maybe even BC!"

Just visit the schools. They have very distinct personalities.

whoa! why am i a tool?
1) i haven't even got into bu yet and possibly may not, so no selection has been made.
2) i haven't visited either school yet, i was merely speculating based on:
3) i prefer a suburb to a city due to having a family
you don't even know me and you called me a tool?! wow. just wow.

For the record, it was totally a joke and one that would probably make more sense to someone currently attending the school. BC tends to be a bit younger and frattastic while BU is a bit older and a bit nerdier. That said, all kinds of people attend both schools, and these stereotypes are broad and largely indefensible over-generalizations. Regardless though, who doesn't love hating on a rival every once in a while, especially when their hockey team is so terrible.

Congrats! You were rolled from ED to RD and accepted, correct?
We're essentially numbers twins (though I have a pending December score and my GPA is a flat 3.5) so I'm hoping to have good news soon.
I wonder when the cutoff is for phone calls? 5pm?
