Any recommendations on what I should see? Bear in mind that it's freezing (18 right now with moderate winds!) and my time is limited, so it should be worthwhile!
Oh.. And I've done Chicago social scene before, so I'm mostly interested in law school stuff. Apologies in advance if I should be posting elsewhere. Curt replies directing me to other threads will also be appreciated
The law school is all one building, so just kind of explore there. Some things you'll want to see:
-Green Lounge (to the right when you walk in): where people eat lunch and hang out in between classes/sometimes there are receptions here.
-The library: look at floor 3 (you can see 2&3 which are open, and admissions is on the 3rd floor) and then floor 4 or 5 (that's where I usually study, and all the professors' offices are around the outside, which is cool).
-Classrooms (back on the main floor): on the big hallway to the left
-Lockers (the stairs down in between the classrooms will take you here): Everyone gets a locker
-Seminar Classrooms: These are down with the lockers, and are used for smaller classes and lunch talks
That's a quick list of the most useful things to see and where law students spend most of their time!
Also if it's not too cold, check out the main quad of the undergrad campus. It's sooooo pretty!
