Full portfolio analysis for while you wait: The GULC one is smaller than Northwestern's, but NU's doesn't have the fancy zipper action. GULC's is glossy, and NU's is matte. Both have lots of pockets without any money in them.sarahlawg wrote:didn't get mine =( looks kind of like Northwestern's though. I wonder if it will take as long as the last thing they sent me.
Gah, I swear it's not there. Does it take some time to show up? I've got announcements, student ambassadors etc. But no credentials.mr_toad wrote:Log in to the admitted site, on the right hand side in a column you'll see "Your credentials". Click. No, because the need-based aid is from a different department with a different budget. The scholarship is 10000 from the office of admissions, then you'll get need-based grants (hopefully) from the office of financial aid about 2 weeks after you turn in the Yellow Form (according to the admitted students weekend).jfb wrote:Alright, I know this was discussed previously, but I would like to mention it again for my own clarity. So this is in my award letter: "Your scholarship, in combination with any need-based grants you may receive or have received from Georgetown, is for $10,000.00 for each of three years of study here at the Law Center. "
Doesn't that seem to mean that even with need grants, the total amount will not exceed 10000?? Am I reading this wrong?

Yea, that has been my understanding of how it works, I guess the wording in there just threw me off a bit. RC was never my strength...coug11 wrote:No, because the need-based aid is from a different department with a different budget. I had this problem for a few minutes - but when i went back a few pages and then returned a bit later it worked. just a glitch i guess.musicfor18 wrote:Anybody else having trouble submitting the Yellow Form, Part2? When I try to move on to the next page, I'm getting a message: "An unknown error has occurred while trying to access your application. Please try again." I have tried it several times, and have verified that the info I've entered into the fields is valid. I already emailed the Financial Aid office about this, but I wondered if anyone else ran across the same problem?

They do, but you don't have to get them in until June 1st.santoinettea wrote:For those who have finished the Yellow Form, did it ask you on that form (or anywhere on the GULC site, for that matter) to send in federal tax returns for parent/student?
I personally haven't seen this requirement listed anywhere; I just ask because the checklist thing that Need Access generated and emailed for GULC said that they require tax returns to be sent in.
Just wondering because I know some schools require it (Cornell, Columbia, etc), and I'm not sure whether or not GULC does.
Thanks!
Thank you!! Can you tell me where you saw that info?JFo wrote:They do, but you don't have to get them in until June 1st.santoinettea wrote:For those who have finished the Yellow Form, did it ask you on that form (or anywhere on the GULC site, for that matter) to send in federal tax returns for parent/student?
