Working on LOCI. Does anybody have any suggestions for Vandy-specific things to put in? I was considering 'there is a heaven for penises and i will take you there,' but am concerned that might strike the wrong tone...

I just saw my decision mailed 1/26 and called FedEx to see if there was a package on its way from me and they said it was a 2-day package from Vanderbilt. Do you think its safe to say that it was an admissions offer? I haven't gotten an email from Vandy with a tracking number though...

Hm this doesn't seem to work for most. I'm surprised FedEx was able to confirm your package. I'd say its safe to say that if you trust FedEx, then you are in, congrats! Hopefully your FedEx box is cuddled up next to mine, and they are keeping each other warm. But more than likely my waitlist/reject letter is shivering in the back of some USPS van.

Oh no... no FedEx package in the system. I didn't think they'd make a non-positive decision that quickly.

That's weird... I got mine today, and we are in the same city. I did have to sign for it though, so they may not have delivered it if you weren't home.

My decision was made the same day as you, so it should have been here. Wouldn't they have left a slip?

This feels terrible. I'm from Nashville and really want to have a cheaper option close to home.

Is anyone still hanging around with me at complete 10/20? Texas (ED w/ no word) and Vandy seem to be colluding to make my life miserable.

I don't know if I'm an admit or reject yet, but I was complete 10/15 and felt like I was waiting forever. 2 weeks ago I sent in an LOCI which outlined why I want Vandy and why I think I'm a good fit for them. I hope it put me over the edge into an acceptance. I suppose I'll know something tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

Yeah NU is high on my list too. I should know what the deal with Vandy is today or tomorrow (Decision sent 1/26), im worried though I went complete 12/28 and definitely do not have auto-admit numbers.
