Fridays make me so sad.

+1. Having higher numbers than many people who got JR1's and having been UR for more than a month gives me a great sense of ambivalence toward H. Maybe S or Y will like us more. In the meantime, however, I'm over worrying about it.

Why is it called JR1, and what is a JR2?

A JR1 is the phone interview that is conducted by Josh Rubenstein (JR himself), the admissions director as Harvard. Only 1000 to 1200 people who apply get the phone interview out of the 8000 or so that apply each year. HLS will email you saying when they plan on calling you.

A JR2 is the phone call they give you to let you know you are accepted.

This is essential knowledge to understand most of what is said on this thread.

No sweating for me man.. Im still in my last semester undergrad and have a ridiculously busy week ahead of me including my first final. Plus, just waking up and looking at my yellow(or should I say maize?) Michigan Law portfolio will keep me from getting too depressed about a lengthy Harvard decision for a while.

Good decision to have. Almost went there in 2009. Not even applying this year, weird....awesome school though.

Yeah, I tend not to stress as much as others either. It makes things too difficult lol.

For as often as I check this thread (2-3 times daily...sad I know) I realized that I don't post too much. I did, however, want to pop in and wish everyone good luck in the coming days. I had my JR1 a few weeks back and I know having that JR2 before Thursday would make Turkey Day a little more special. Best of luck to everyone!
