In UG + seriously under consideration = automatic request for grades?

My lsat is a 171. They requested my grades and I have a 4.0.

So you fall into that splitter category. It's still odd. How much could your grades possibly change this semester?

I was above the 75th %tile LSAT too, so I am not sure about this reverse splitter theory.

They asked for grades from a 3.7 as well (T6 Hopeful)

That's still a decent gpa for Columbia (not great admittedly). I'm just curious what these peoples LSATs look like in comparison to their gpas.

Although, if he were being considered for a Hamilton I suppose it would be relevant. I rescind this statement.

It would have to only be for RD, right? ED people are guaranteed a decision by the end of December and a lot of fall grades don't get released til after.
