Waitlisted via snailmail.
It was DEFINITELY a reach school, so I am surprised even with a WL.

Today. I was informed of acceptance via email last Friday. Applied 1/1, complete 1/4. Pretty surprised considering my numbers.SrLaw wrote:mettasutta wrote:Admit packet in the mail with $12,000/year, stipulation of good standing.

You have a good shot! Your LSAT hits the median, and a couple of non-URMs with similar and lower GPAs got in last cycle.

It looks like you are right. Probably from the plethora of applicants last year. I doubt they can keep it at a 167 this year.

Re: Notre Dame 2014 applicants
FWIW SrLaw I wrote a Why ND then sent an LOCI at 3 months complete... I did add some new employment info (up for a promo) but mainly reiterated my interest in the school. I don't think it could hurt you. The woman was very friendly, she even wished me good luck at work

My numbers are 167/3.4, I am not a "URM" (AA/NA etc.) but I did write a diversity statement. I did the Why "ND."

My LSAT is lower than yours, but I'm hoping they throw some love at me for being Catholic and NA.SrLaw wrote:NorCalBruin wrote:Probs fine. Honestly, they are just slow.SrLaw wrote:SherlockHolmes wrote:Notre Dame I'm dying here. Please send a decision my way soon!

I wrote a strong Why ND, my numbers are 169 / 3.8 -- I think they are just slow.

Re: Notre Dame 2014 applicants
I think you should really worry if you didn't do the optional essay... which I didn't because I got lazy...
that being said, I got WL'ed with the following
167, 3.78
finishing MS degree, 2 yr work experience
I honestly think it was not doing the Why ND essay (yes, I know, I'm and idiot), which I plan to include when I follow up with a LOCI.
Hopefully you guys will get good news soon!

Re: Notre Dame 2014 applicants
Sorry to hear about the recent WLs and good luck to those waiting! They're really slow. I finally heard from them 4 months, to the day, after submission (about 14-15 weeks after going complete).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
