only two more schools to still hear back from! I remember the days when I had 17 status checkers to check every morning and I could analyze every date change, debate whether new mailing sections suddenly appeared, and wonder if a decision was on its way during the times I had an error message when signing in. status checking is so boring now and takes less than 3 minutes

i'm waiting on those two as well but not feeling great about my chances tbh. currently in $ negotiations with 3 schools but leaning toward CLS. we'll see!

I pick things up and put them down

Not the same lmao. My one fear is not being able to go to the gym as much and falling off it 1L year. The gym helps me and always gives me a boost. Makes me think I can do anything lol. My deadlift went from 225 to 365 in one year.

Anyone else have this fear?

I think people forget that you actually get a lot more time in LS than you think. If the gym is a good mental boost for you, you just have to prioritize and find time for it. An hour a few times a week is definitely something you will be able to balance.

I'm hoping I don't have too many classes in the morning so I can go to the gym before class. I would hate to have to take two showers everyday.

Two showers a day is so money. One after you lift in the AM, and one at the end of the day before bed. That's like standard for me lol.

Yeah I've given up on the myth that washing my hair daily is bad for it. I do an AM shower and then an afternoon shower if I hit the gym during lunch.

Scholarship negotiations are way worse than anything else in the application process. I feel like schools make it purposefully difficult and confusing to find financial aid information/scholarship so that less people try.

try looking for actual grade curves from school websites in order to negotiate stipulations

fuck that - they need to give you the curve. That said, I've never had trouble finding that info. usually something like 'grade distribution' does it.

What's the deal with negotiating using offers from school's who's deposit deadlines have already passed? Is it expected/required that you've double deposited or can you continue negotiating with the offers even if the deadline has passed and you didn't double deposit?
