Not the same lmao. My one fear is not being able to go to the gym as much and falling off it 1L year. The gym helps me and always gives me a boost. Makes me think I can do anything lol. My deadlift went from 225 to 365 in one year.

Anyone else have this fear?
I think the fear is I won't be able to do anything during 1L that I once enjoyed before law school
That to and I become a stale person who only studies and talks about law school lol.

No i have been pretty nervous that i wont be able to go as much as I would like, especially considering I skipped the gym from like august to December last year due to LSAT/apps and lost all my gainz (and regained all my losses). I figure if you just make it a schedule then you'll be able to do it.

Also, solid DL numbers. good for you

And thus begins the next round of TLS drama lol

But hell yes I would spend a sizable wedding fund on law school if it was necessary to avoid loans.

Weddings (not to be confused with marriage) are temporary, JD is forever.
TCR
I wish I had one of these mythical savings accounts with money earmarked for something relatively unnecessary to put towards law school. Tell your "friend" that I say spend it now on LS, start saving again once the big checks start rolling in
Just stopping by to say I agree with all of the above.
Thanks for the advice guys. The money will likely stay put because I'm pretty sure I'll end up at my 0k COA school but this question was gnawing at me. Just wanted to hear thoughts from everyone else. Most people's parents start a college fund, mine started a wedding fund LOL.

I feel the same way, all I do now is work, lift, and play soccer. Feel like I'll only be working once school starts :(

I feel you on skipping days for the LSAT lol. Hopefully we can still do it. My homie George is in law school and goes every morning. He always text me about his workout.

I think I'm most frightened of not having an income - I don't care much about not having a life, focusing on school is that best thing you can do while being in school. But man, I've been making stupid money for 2 years now in NYC, it's going to be weird as fuck to go back to being broke 100% of the time.

To go away from my shitposting for a minute, I'm sure law school time will vary from person to person. One of my friends, who is the type of kid who over studies, pretty much treats it as a 9-5 with some time on the weekends during normal weeks. But I'm sure there are plenty of successful people who spend less time than that on class and still get solid grades.

same outside of the 2-3 weeks before finals. Not uncommon to hear people say they never work over the weekends either.

only two more schools to still hear back from! I remember the days when I had 17 status checkers to check every morning and I could analyze every date change, debate whether new mailing sections suddenly appeared, and wonder if a decision was on its way during the times I had an error message when signing in. status checking is so boring now and takes less than 3 minutes :|

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
