I just went decision rendered today! I'm nervous, USD's probably my number 1 because I'm from San Diego. . . and I wend decision rendered at Pepperdine today.
I think both I have a slim chance at. I'm a 161/3.1.
Sigh.
Has anyone been waitlisted at USD yet?

I was also WL'd at Pepperdine, but look compare usd to pepperdine on lsn. A 161 3.1has a fairly good chance at usd.

When did you go complete at USD?
I went complete in late november.
Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but the mailings section hasn't updated yet. Have others had theirs updated when they went DR or did the date just change at the top? When I applied, I didn't get an application received email, just the complete and had to go back and ask for my login information, so maybe I'm a little paranoid.

When I went DR on 2/12 the "Mailings" section was updated to reflect "Decision Letter Sent 2/12." Still waiting on snail mail but the mailman hasn't passed by my house yet.

Thanks! I'll check back later in the day. Where do you live? Anxiously checking the mail everyday for a week seems frustrating. There was someone else who lives in San Diego, like I do, who got it like 6 days later.
I'm so nervous! I hope it's good news!

I know it's probably how most schools do it, but I hate the fact that you submit your application really early but then the school evaluates candidates in order of LSAT score. It is pretty apparent that USD does it this way, I think.

It's good news! Anyone know how long does it usually take for scholarship info to arrive?

I had a really awkward call with an alum a couple of days ago. I never know what to ask them. I need to learn to not answer the phone...

Haha my phone call with the alum was sooo awkward as well!!
I actually had a few questions but they weren't even answered very throughly or genuinely by the guy who called me...
Didn't leave me with the best impression...

I disagree with this, I applied back in November and I have a 170 but still no decision.

Has anyone who's been accepted mid January or later heard back about scholarship money?

Ive still heard nothing on scholarships. Thye keep letting me know about admitted students day, but I wont RSVP and pay to fly out there unless I know about scholarship info. Should I ask financial aid? or keep waiting and checking the mail anxiously every night?

I got my acceptance on January 15th and still no scholarship info. I visited the campus last week and they said it would eb about 4-6 weeks for scholarship info. I haven't gotten anything yet.
I emailed financial aid today to get an update on whether or not my application had been reviewed by the financial aid committee for scholarship money. I got the most generic email back saying that I would be notified via mail about a scholarship and that financial aid letters go out in early March. Lame.

Yeah my stats are 159 and 3.52. I went complete 1/13, dr 1/14, and got the letter 1/15. But still no scholarship info. It's starting to look as though this is where I'll end up next year. I hope I get some scholly $$$.
Sdegarmo, is USD a top choice for you?

Do you expect scholarship money? I have a 160/3.62 and wasn't really sure I was in the range for $...which is one reason why USD is a bit further from the top of the list.
Hmm...maybe I should keep them more in mind and see if money comes my way.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
