Received a big packet in the mail today. Was not really expecting that. Plus a personal note, nice touch. $5k a year doesn't sound bad either. Top choice so far. Definitely, bumped Iowa off the list.

I got the same exact thing, Scholly, note, and all. I'm also deciding b/w Iowa and IUB, what do like about IUB over Iowa....I'm too indecisive and any input would help! Thanks!

I got the ASW email last week but couldn't take the suspense. So I called the admissions office and......I'm in with a full sholarship!!!!!!!!
I still can't quite believe it.

Unfortunately, Indiana declined to match my Illinois scholarship. They did increase it, though, to their credit. I hope to visit still: Maybe I'll just love it! But I'd be more inclined to love it if it were as cheap as Illinois...

Also got a full ride. I spontaneously yelled out "woohoo!", and the admissions lady said (not unkindly) "that's my ear you're yelling into". I apologized.barrydukakis wrote:+1... stoked.weis14 wrote:I got the ASW email last week but couldn't take the suspense. Now, off to withdraw from several other schools that are no longer realistically in competition.

Just wondering if anyone who interviewed has heard back from IUB?
I'm still in the dark.....can't be a good sign.

Wow, just got my acceptance packet. $45K over three years and a very nice handwritten note from someone who had clearly read my personal statement. It's always nice to be regarded as a person. I had honestly not thought much about IUB and applied primarily because of an unsolicited fee waiver. I'm going to have think about it now.
BTW – does anyone know about getting in-state tuition after the first year.

Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to get in-state after the first year in Indiana. There is a TLS article that lists state residency requirements as Easy, Medium, and Hard. INdiana is squarely in the Hard category.j.wellington wrote:Wow, just got my acceptance packet. $45K over three years and a very nice handwritten note from someone who had clearly read my personal statement.
