In with $25,000 x 3yrs. With the GI Bill I should be golden. My numbers are 2.98/175 and I submitted in mid november, went complete in early Dec, for those who are tracking this stuff.

No kidding. Thanks, man. I keep re-reading the e-mail to make sure somebody didn't miss a decimal place or something. From the scholarship numbers I had scoped out elsewhere, UIUC was one of the schools I least expected big money from, much less full tuition.

Congrats man! Call me old fashioned, but I would have announced things a little differently knowing a dean from UIUC was actively posting in this thread. Not picking on you at all, but I find using vulgarities in front of superiors should be at a minimum. Of course, I am "old" compared to most here.

Campus golf course is pretty nice considering we are in Illinois (aka flatsville). Nonetheless, its conveniently located next to the University airport so you can always catch a plane to hawaii for a round

What does "on hold for second review" mean? Waitlist?

That is what my status checker says, but I also received an email informing me I was on the waitlist, so I believe that is what it means.

Yeah, I finally got the waitlist email. Kind of discouraging since LSP lists Illinois as an "admit" for me. Well, now the real waiting starts!

+1 I don't love my chances of admission by any means, and honestly I think I would consider myself lucky to even get a waitlist offer, but hopefully Dean Pless feels the Illini love and surprises me .
