If you haven't heard her song "Christmas Tree" you totally should look it up. I like her way of thinking for spending the holidays.

Nothing in Texas today.

Hopefully, I will get in because they know with my numbers, I will be happy to go at full sticker.

I'm on hold... (164, 3.52, strong softs) so did they waitlist anyone in this EA cycle? I guess we'll get responses by February 26. What does this mean? Better than outright rejection... I guess?

So what, exactly, is the difference between a WL and "hold"?

It seems like a hold is just a deferral. I think a WL will be spelled out for you. So the holds have another decision coming, basically. Much better than a WL at this point!

I'm curious about those random phone calls, too. Did admissions say anything special to you? Congrats in any event!!

Nope. But then again admissions was goofy enough to send my acceptance to my Permanent address instead of my Current address....so they probably called my parents home instead of my cell, in the same vein.

So do we get scholarship info soon or have to apply separately?

No separate application for scholarship - should hear soon.

For those of you that were held, do you have Dec. LSAT scores coming?

So a hold is basically like going back into the regular applicant pool?

No December LSAT for me. In fact, they aren't waiting for anything... although at this juncture should I be considering an LOCI? Heading to Boston next Tuesday, maybe I'll see if they're doing tours/interviews then.

So did we ever figure out when/if/how/whatever scholarship info is sent out? I didn't get any mention in my packet, so I'm trying to figure out if that means I'm out of the $$ running.
