I got my complete email a full 6 weeks after my submission.

I think he means that Yale probably won't even look at Legalite's app until after the February LSAT scores are released.tomhobbes wrote:What do you mean?crackberry wrote:You are essentially applying on March 1.Legalite wrote:I am planning to apply after my Feb test tomorrow (if I feel like I made my PT range) and my application will probably be finished on the 13th. it't going to be even later if they take their sweet time re-scheduling the test and getting the scores out. glad I wasn't in a hurry to find out...

Yup I think every center from southern VA to central NJ is closed. No make up date yet. I sincerely hope the score will not be delayed because all my apps are submitted and this is my first score. Any later the best I can hope for is the waitlist anywhere!crackberry wrote:Are they doing that cause of the snow?r6_philly wrote:it't going to be even later if they take their sweet time re-scheduling the test and getting the scores out. glad I wasn't in a hurry to find out...

I know they had to cancel, the timing is just unfortunate. Anyway as long as score comes out the same time it is ok. Schools are already doing me favors by agreeing to review my Feb score, any delay would just make it worse. I swear I am ready to drive through 36 inches of snow to take the test tomorrow if they would post my score by Monday.

What a timely reminder of the climate advantages offered by the West Coast. The SLS admissions people must be thrilled.

I must bow in the infinite wisdom of the west coast schools ... SLS and Berkeley are the only schools that refused to look at my Feb score lolmanagamy wrote:What a timely reminder of the climate advantages offered by the West Coast. The SLS admissions people must be thrilled.
I miss Cali, but some of the worst chapters of my life were played out there. I am not quite ready to return yet, so I will just stick to my shoveling and salting...

I'm in New York right now, and the weather is beautiful (albeit cold). Much better than the wet awfulness that has been plaguing Berkeley.crackberry wrote:California FTWmanagamy wrote:What a timely reminder of the climate advantages offered by the West Coast. But yes, California weather is generally the best.

Warm + wet > cold + dry, in my opinion.BioEBear2010 wrote:I'm in New York right now, and the weather is beautiful (albeit cold). Soooo, I'm sure it's been asked a billion times...but has anyone heard of someone getting into Yale with TTT numbers because of their soft factors like the 250? Not including URM's...

Re: Yale 2010
Honestly, I don't think that they even READ a file if they don't like the numbers they see (especially the LSAT score, even if it's a low 160). I don't know how it works for URMs, because my friend was one (she's Indian) and had amazing amazing softs, a 3.97 GPA and a low 160, and had an incredible PS, LORs and got rejected. But then again maybe they don't take all minorities to be URM...
