Any chance they'll accept people tomorrow?

I would estimate that probability at <1%. Stuff yourself with turkey and mashed potatoes, enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend, and give yourself a break from self-inflicted pressure. It's better karma.thorntll wrote:Any chance they'll accept people tomorrow?

When I saw that this thread had been updated, I thought that there had been a late-night phone call from Dean Tom.

Yeah I noticed the USSR option. My only guess was that it was intended for people born before it broke apart.

Or because Berkeley is full of communist-sympathizing hippies. Either way.VoidSix wrote:Yeah I noticed the USSR option. My only guess was that it was intended for people born before it broke apart.

My birthday is Wednesday. It would be such a good birthday present! Last year on my birthday I got a raise... This would be better.

True prophet gets flowers and chocolates. False prophet gets the guillotine.bilbobaggins wrote:If I had to guess I bet they start calling tomorrow.

I'm not liking bilbobaggins' chances considering that someone called Berkeley a week or two ago and was told that they won't start sending out more decisions until December, which doesn't start until Tuesday.

Re: Berkeley 2010
Yeah, except CoutureChiq proved that somewhat wrong. I bet TLS / LSN is only about 10-20% of the applicant pool (correct me if I'm wrong). So it's not outlandish to imagine 10 or so people have been accepted yet. Although maybe they just meant they weren't going to do huge wave acceptances until December.managamy wrote:I'm not liking bilbobaggins' chances considering that someone called Berkeley a week or two ago and was told that they won't start sending out more decisions until December, which doesn't start until Tuesday.

on a side note, ive been actually really curious about this but what percent of the applicant pool is actually on tls/lsn? (10-20% sounds kinda low? but i honestly have no idea)
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
