Toured UCLA yesterday and USC today. Sort of in awe of both, didn't think I would love them both as much as I do.
One question- anyone know where law students at USC tend to live?

Mostly downtown. Also a lot of west side.

The law housing is a 10 minute walk to campus, but I don't know if it's guaranteed all years. If it's at all like UG housing then I wouldn't count on it lmao.EWofNell wrote:Toured UCLA yesterday and USC today. Sort of in awe of both, didn't think I would love them both as much as I do.

I can't say where the law students live if not in USC housing, but I know that the UG students tend to fill the streets surrounding campus--Menlo, Ellendale, 30th st. 36th, 37th being the most common. Granted if you want to live in those locations as a law student it will definitely be harder because UG students started signing leases 2 weeks ago

Terrace is for 1Ls only. Also, you won't find too many law students in the surrounding area.Sadnessandmisfortune wrote:The law housing is a 10 minute walk to campus, but I don't know if it's guaranteed all years. Figured I'd ask here before I make a silly...
Is there any reason why I wouldn't do the "scholarship award reservation" right now?
They say:
"Scholarship Reconsideration: We will not begin considering requests for increased scholarship amounts until early March. Reserving your scholarship award will not preclude you from scholarship reconsideration. Rather, we will be waiting to ensure that any adjustments are made equitably and consistently with your fellow admitted students."
So to me it sounds like I can reserve but still negotiate? I definitely want to make sure I'm not misunderstanding here...

Look at you all discussing ASW! I finally went Under Review yesterday- though I have not been waiting half as long as most people on here. Congrats on the acceptances and good luck to the shawties still waiting. Here's hoping we all hear back this Friday (or next)!

Dude that truly blows. Even if it's a deny or waitlist, people still want to hear as early as possible. Now, I'm starting to feel glad that I applied so late- I'm hearing back pretty quick from all the schools that I applied to...though I know applying late in the cycle comes with its own pitfalls.fazzvm56 wrote:The real wait is submitting mid-October and not even being under review yet...jennageorge wrote:UR since November??
