Have splitters even been interviewed yet?
I'm a moderate splitter and I was in one of the very first JS1 waves.
What's a moderate splitter? I thought by definition splitters were LSAT>75% and GPA<25%.
I would consider a moderate splitter to be someone right around the 25th for GPA, rather than considerably below (think 3.8 vs 3.5).
3.5 is moderate... low 3s is full splitter... sub-3 is where we get extreme....
My goal is to have the lowest UG GPA at whichever school I attend.
So what's a 3.7?

QQ - is this the first year that not all interviews have been done by one of the admissions staff listed on the HLS Admissions website?

Also in today! Didn't get the call because my overseas number is wonky I guess. They emailed me about the phone number and then told me I had a status update. This status checker opened up to a welcome page/acceptance letter. Odd way of receiving the news, but overjoyed nonetheless!

In!!! Currently not in the States so missed the fun of getting a JS2, but super thrilled! For what it's worth, application went complete 11/1, JS1 11/23, did the interview 12/1. (GPA>75%, 50%<LSAT<75%, KJD, international studying in an American liberal arts college) Good luck to those still waiting!

bgt1995 wrote:Is it normal to not have received an interview yet? I went complete Nov. 7.

(If it matters, my GPA is at median, LSAT between 25th and 50th, and I am a URM)
consensus is that it's completely normal right now. things have been moving a bit slower this cycle, and the majority of people who've posted JS1s have numbers at or above the 50% for both. i think one URM applicant a few pages back were below both medians, but i think that's the exception at this point.

for what it's worth, i went complete in early october, don't have a JS1, and am not *too* concerned yet.

yet.

Additionally it's perhaps noteworthy that I'm KJD

JS1 !!!!!!! I'm so excited and surprised, I really didn't think I would get one because I've got low numbers for Harvard, 50% GPA and below 25% LSAT, but I am a URM, with good soft factors and a Masters so maybe that's why!

JS1? Is that what it is? I received the interview invitation.

Never thought I would get that. LSAT right below 75%. International GPA only B (above average).

Feeling grateful. Maybe my soft helps.

Start to panic now.

This site has probably contributed to my sanity in a negative way but regardless I am a happy 0L today
