No error for me????
Yep, now I can log in. Must have just been an update timed perfectly to give me a heart attack.
Perfectly timed such that I saw the first message about the error, checked, didn't have an error, came back and saw the "error is gone" message...
that's some spoopy stuff kids

I'm wondering if this is their version of UR?
has it always said a date? mine has always just been Application Complete without any date attached to it
It doesn't have a date in the status checker but if you log into the Decision Letter Delivery System, there will be a date there.
Ah thanks I found it! On that site it says everyone RD should expect a decision 8 to 10 weeks after December 1st which isnt for another two weeks. That cant be right though-havent some RD applicants already received decisions?
Also you can still apply RD right and can for a while, right?
Does it make more sense to interpret that as those that applied after 12/1 will expect a reply in 8-10 weeks? Haven't looked myself tbh
Edit: Uh, is it bad that I get an error when I try to log in to the decision delivery system or does that just mean they haven't made a decision yet?
Yep you can still apply RD- I believe what the message is saying that no matter when you went complete (if it was before 12/1) that was the day they were starting to review apps so they wanted you to count 8 or 10 weeks from that day. But I don't think it is relevant since a wave of RD admits came 2-3 weeks after 12/1
I also still have an error and was able to log in this morning when I first found all of this so..weird

This is just spitballing - in the online interview, if you get asked a question you literally can't come up with an answer to, would it be a decent strategy to come up with you own, unrelated (still serious) question and answer that? Like, don't say you're answering a different one, but make them think you heard a different question or something. Probably not a good idea regardless tho lol

It is definitely relevant. They are stating you can expect a turn around of 2 or more months. Just because they happen to admit some applicants sooner does not change your expected timeline. You could hear back sooner. You could win the lottery or get hit by a car (or both!). More likely, you won't win the lottery and you won't hear back from NU sooner than 2 months after you submitted. That's how I'm reading it, anyway.

It displays the question on the screen for 30 seconds. They'll probably think you're incompetent.
Probably. Again, just a thought I had. I answered all my questions on-topic! Big ask, I know.

Hoping for some decisions today. The second Tuesday in January was the first wave after the holiday break last year.

+1 I have high hopes!
EDIT: although I'm an ED hold so I wouldn't expect for me to hear back until next week based on the past few years' numbers.

Johann's twitter account is radio silent. Doubt they're giving the people what they want today.
Which is surprising, because you've got to give the people what they want.

Mine isn't working either... Maybe they are updating their system? Maybe some movement soon?
