Anyone complete around Dec LSAT score release get any info on admittance? I feel a waitlist coming but I just wanna know already!

I'm still waiting and I have excellent numbers for BU so I think they just haven't gotten to the January applicants yet

Submitted 11/28 with a GPA between the 25th and the median and an LSAT 12 points above the 75th. I'm in at a number of T14s, but have heard radio silence from BU. Should I send in a LOCI?

With a 175+ I'm racking my brain as to why you care about BU honestly. No offense. I'm giving you a huge compliment.

I want to live (permanently) in Boston and have little interest in biglaw. So BU with a decent scholarship would be one of my top choices.

You should have tried for the full ride ED then. Unless you don't like that kind of finality. But yea if you didn't write a why BU or anything, maybe a LOCI couldn't hurt, if they don't accept you it would probs just be a YP waitlist in which case you'd do the same thing. Your case seems extreme though considering your LSAT. They are gonna need convincing that you really want to go.

On LSN, it looks like they've been avoiding making decisions on people with a 164...anyone else think it seems weird that there seems to be yellow and red up through 163 and green at 165+ and practically nothing at 164?

Yeah, that ties the most money I've seen given out on LSN so far. My guess (based purely on assumption) is that this is the most they're offering (at least before negotiations).

Hm.. I'll keep that in mind. It's the highest offer I have when compared to tuition. Emory's offer is higher money-wise but more pricey compared to their tuition.

I know BU has entertainment/sports law as an area of study, but do you know of anyone who is interested in this area/how it seems like they're faring internship/job-seeking-wise?

Sports law is pretty much my dream job lol
