Holy crap are you serious? That is so much earlier than last year, based on last year's thread. I am freaking out. What did you ask? Were you checking in on your app, or just asking when? I kind of want to email and ask and make sure they have my CSS Profile and FAFSA and everything.taxman14 wrote:Just spoke with financial aid and they told me that fin aid packages are going out this week and early next week. Excited to see what they're offering
Wait, but it's already Thursday! DO they mean tomorrow????????? Freaking out so hard right now haha.

Wowza, I was not expecting anything until late March, this is nuts. We were in the first wave of admits, and I had already submitted my FAFSA/CSS before even being accepted, so I'm hoping we'll be in the first wave of financial aid notification too. SO nervous.taxman14 wrote:haha yea i just asked when they'd be sent and they said either this week (tmrw) or early next. That's all I know hahakatthegreat11 wrote:Holy crap are you serious? Do we think it's been similar this year?hammy393 wrote:FYI

Man, 7 acceptances in March seems absurdly low

Every school seems to be a little behind this year and the FB group still has a ~40% of offers left to go, so I'd guess the drop-off holds true but not so drastically. And since not everyone reports on LSN, I'm guessing there were at least a few more than 7 acceptances in March last yearmyrik wrote:Do we think it's been similar this year?hammy393 wrote:FYI

Yea the LSN count is waaaay lower since only a fraction of those who are admitted post their statsSmallK wrote:Every school seems to be a little behind this year and the FB group still has a ~40% of offers left to go, so I'd guess the drop-off holds true but not so drastically. DLS on status checker. It's been fun dreaming. Any chance it is a WL, or is definitely a ding?

If you do the timeline feature on MyLSN, you'll see that historically about 65% of admits come before March, leaving 35% to go.hammy393 wrote:Yea the LSN count is waaaay lower since only a fraction of those who are admitted post their statsSmallK wrote:Every school seems to be a little behind this year and the FB group still has a ~40% of offers left to go, so I'd guess the drop-off holds true but not so drastically. I believe 1/17 (maybe 27?) was my complete date. Submitted just after christmas. Not shocked, just disheartened. Haven't received good news in a month nowRigo wrote:When did you go UR?mtf612 wrote:DLS on status checker. It's been fun dreaming. Any chance it is a WL, or is definitely a ding?

LSAT just under median, GPA over median.

I think I'll wait. Maybe when I get the letter next week I will finally have an offer to a top 10. Then an SLS denial won't hurt as bad...
Wishing all of the rest of you waiting folks the best of luck!
