Will there be consistent stream of admissions decisions now that the first batch has broken? Also, I'd love to find out if any rollover ED applicants have been admitted or heard back regarding the "expedited review" process

I interviewed a month ago, and my status still says incomplete. At what point should I call them? I'm assuming they're just backed up and I don't want to be a bother, but it's now been a full month.

If it's been a month, I'd say you're justified to call them now. Just politely ask if there's anything else they need from you because you noticed you're still incomplete. Sometimes things fall through the cracks.station2 wrote:I interviewed a month ago, and my status still says incomplete. At what point should I call them? I'm in the same boat, I was incomplete for three weeks after submitting my online interview. I called and asked if there was anything I was missing, they said they were just super slammed. I guess I forgot that the online interview is totally new this year so it might be causing some backups. Side note- I don't think people should be worried about bothering if they call about an incomplete app after 2+ weeks. That's an unusually long time for any school.station2 wrote:I interviewed a month ago, and my status still says incomplete. At what point should I call them? I had my interview on the 28th and have still not gone complete, too. Sent them an email.
Seems like a lot of people are in the same boat.

Ditto, I called also and they were really helpful. Marked me complete immediately and apologized for the delay. I think it's fine to call and confirm that they don't need anything from you.thanksmeatcat wrote:I'm in the same boat, I was incomplete for three weeks after submitting my online interview. "Complete" date change on 1/15 via letter delivery system. Interviewed mid December and complete a couple days after interview

Re: Northwestern c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
It's definitely late in the process, but it's not too late; I just sent in my application a week ago. However, without trying to be rude, I will say that admittance to Northwestern with your stats is unlikely at any time in the admission process, unless you are an URM or have significant work experience.Keilz wrote:Do you guys think submitting an app by the end of the month would be too late for any chance of acceptance, let alone scholarship money? I'm at 25<GPA/LSAT<50 right now (GPA pretty much at median, just scraping by a couple of hundreths)

My "complete" date also changed in the letter delivery system from early December complete now to 1/11. Any idea what that means or is it just a random system update?ggnobbq wrote:"Complete" date change on 1/15 via letter delivery system. Re: Northwestern c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I would say chances are much better than "unlikely" - maybe even 50/50 at both medians. Submit as early as possible and hope for the best. If waitlisted, then show your continuing interest and you may get admitted later in the cycle. Make sure to include a good "Why Northwestern" essay if you want to maximize your chances.WaitersIsland wrote:It's definitely late in the process, but it's not too late; I just sent in my application a week ago.
