P.S. when I saw the yale rejection wave went out, I was happy I didn’t get an e-mail... but it was there, waiting for me in my junk folder.

Anyone complete in February and get a ding today? Would like to know if I dodged a bullet or if Yale has yet to fire at my app.

Based on the sample on LSN, it looks like they were particular this time around about weeding out splitters (splitters by YLS standards, at least). Everyone on there was below at least one median and most were below at least one 25th. I fit that criteria myself so I'll be refreshing my inbox like a madman tomorrow and Monday since I didn't hear anything today.

No ding yet. Applied early December. I wonder if this rejection wave means that likely to waitlisted, since no acceptance or denial and they have had application a long time. Would be nice to know one way to another. Hate this waiting game.

Well, I'm disappointed in you Yale. We both know I'm not good enough. Time to let me go.Hildegard wrote: If I'm not in the first wave of dings I'll be disappointed.

Folks...if you applied before January and you didn't get the hammer yesterday, I'd say you have plenty of reason for optimism. I think it's sufficient evidence to believe you're somewhere in the FR process...prayers could be very much on the way to being granted!

Rejected yesterday. Was not impressed by the hyphenation of "highly qualified"

Applied October 3rd and haven't heard any news either way. Sensing a waitlist.

So sorry to hear about all the dings
I'm sure everyone will have great options! Would it be too depressing to start keeping track of ding waves in the OP?

I believe the "incomplete" verbiage was just extending the football analogy, rather than saying that his app was incomplete.shineoncrazydiamond wrote:You were rejected without being complete? This is a thing?jnwa wrote:Yale mary was incomplete...got dinged today submitted early October.

Yale law school is on Spring break this week which I assume means no calls or emails until next Monday?

How are people handling scholarship offers from other schools that have early deadlines? Like my deadline is April 1st and I may not hear a reply from Yale till mid-April. I know it says to email them if there are deadlines for scholarship offers, but I just wanted to know how others have been dealing with it.

Their admins are probably still there, though I might think this could be a busy week for professors/faculty to review apps. Generally speaking, higher ed admin staff is still working even when students are gone. I'd anticipate a wave or two next weekbluebook22 wrote:Yale law school is on Spring break this week which I assume means no calls or emails until next Monday?

Re: Yale c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Do any of the admits have the schedule (or even just the dates) of any/all Admitted Students programs for 2016? I'm far from assuming that I will be admitted, but I'm planning what will be my only trip to the East Coast of the cycle and I'm trying to preserve the possibility of attending a program at Yale if I can make it work with my schedule. Thanks!
