Is it a letter, as in one that fits in a mailbox?
Or, is it a package that would need to be handled by my apartment's leasing office?
Our mailboxes are very small, and they call me when they get a package.

Also received my acceptance packet with a Hamilton scholarship today! I'm above both 75ths, submitted late October and am in the Midwest. I didn't receive an e-mail beforehand. Congrats to the other admits and good luck to everyone!

For those who listed both, did it go to your permanent address or current mailing address?

I'm also very curious about the size of the package.butSeriously wrote:Is it a letter, as in one that fits in a mailbox?

My mailbox is very small, and USPS/whoever often drop larger packages on the floor in front of the boxes. Please fellow residents, do not steal this package.

It's a large envelope, about 13 x 10 inches. Mine was in my mailbox, but your situation might be a little differentbutSeriously wrote:Is it a letter, as in one that fits in a mailbox?

I'm the opposite - I'd wait another 3 months if it means there's a fat scholly attached to that letter.kadyevna wrote:at this point, i just want to be acceptedDetroitRed wrote:God, this is the worst. Right - so would anybody. The problem is that you don't know whether you'll get a scholarship or waitlisted/rejected.LawBron James wrote:Preach.lc39 wrote:

Oh definitely, I'm gonna be nervous about it until I get a package. But, if I were to get a scholarship it would be worth the wait, especially because I have pretty borderline scholarship numbers.DetroitRed wrote:Right - so would anybody. Re: Columbia c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Applied Jan. 7, and am still Completion Pending despite all my green boxes being checked and my application being looked at by all my other schools.
Emailed them, and it turns out they were waiting for a transcript from my study abroad semester (which has its own complications, but that's another story). Which isn't a problem on its own but they didn't say anything until I emailed them today asking what was going on with my application.
God I hope the completely unnecessary a 2-3 week delay on my official submission doesn't hurt me too bad. I really wish they had said something or given me some indication of the issue.

Complete since forever, interviewed about 2 weeks ago, above both 75th's, and total radio silence since my interview. Anyone in a similar boat?

Accepted via email today at 5:04 EST! Went complete around...uh, 11/24ish?
I was super excited, and then I read about people getting Hamiltons in their mail, and now I'm less excited, but still happy. Congrats to all the admits, and for those still waiting, I hope you hear good news soon!

I got an acceptance package today, but no scholarship info. Does this mean that I have been ruled out by Columbia for a scholarship?

it means you were not awarded the Hamilton (full scholarship) or the Butler (half scholarship), but you are definitely in the running for other $$$ — it'll just be later in the cyclefenwayfrank wrote:I got an acceptance package today, but no scholarship info.
