Pretty sure I never had UR2, I had the same thing with an update one day after complete and then I think it stayed the same until I got my call over a month later. Just try to ignore the status checker and you'll be fine! Good luck!

I've been locked out of status checker for the past five days. Keeps giving me the bit. message. Tried different browsers, computers, devices. Anyone who is able to access the status checker, how are you doing it?

Try clearing your browser history and/or cookies.

Tried this, and using the link they originally sent.

Have no idea what this could be. My only guess at this point, is that it's related to the university wifi if all devices and browsers have the same outcome.

ETA: Disconnected wifi from phone, and was able to log-in. So if anyone uses the "eduroam" network, it seems to at least block the NYU status checker.

The same happened to me, except UR 10/26 and then a date change on 10/27. Aaaand now I can't get into the checker. Oh well!

Hmm... well my sc just updated to UR 12/12 so I guess thats UR2. Maybe yours will update soon too.

It's quite variable. Some people have one, others have up to four as far as I've seen.

Received the deferral email today and holding at UR2 for the foreseeable future now. Anyone happen to know any eventual admissions stats for deferred ED applicants? When my application is reviewed again, will the fact that I started as ED be noted?

Is a deferral ED email the same thing as being moved to regular decision for ED? Just got moved to the RD pool and was ED.

Yep that's the email. Moved to RD and will hear by late April.

Yep that's the email. Moved to RD and will hear by late April.
