Hi everyone ! I just found this topic ! I have applied 13 weeks ago and still no response... I'm starting to freak out a little bit. I am an international applicant so I am not sure if that is normal or not, but it is good to hear that I'm not the only one waiting haha

did anybody who RSVPd to an admitted students' day get a confirmation email of any kind? I RSVPd yesterday and haven't heard a thing back.

Sadly the long wait is nothing to freak out about (yet). There seems to be plenty of us within the boat.

I RSVP'd several weeks ago and just got confirmation this past week. Still haven't heard from the student I'll be staying with though, or from the guy I emailed about transportation reimbursement. I wouldn't worry if you haven't heard back yet!

I did get a confirmation but it took a day or two. I also received information about travel reimbursement on the day I requested it (or the next day, it was very speedy). I'm sure they're just inundated with requests right now. You'll hear back! IMO, they've done a fantastic job with response time so far. I've been really impressed.

+1. I have fedex delivery manager set up so how long with no notifications until i should start expecting bad news?

Save your anxiety/tears! I looked back through the thread and a sizable number of people didn't get updates from fedex until the next day. Tomorrow I'll start to panic/probably give fedex a call if I haven't heard anything.

Just a reminder--the e-mail updates can take a while to be sent. You should be checking/refreshing your Fedex Delivery Manager Account page; it will (sometimes) let you know a lot faster if you have a package from Vanderbilt.

I just noticed I had a decision mailed today as well. Can I sign up for the FedEx delivery manager now or is it too late? I'm doing it anyway because it might be helpful for Emory as well.

I signed up for mine after I got the decision mailed, and it notified me shortly after of the package.

IIRC a few people earlier in the thread were able to call fedex and confirm a package from vanderbilt was on the way before the delivery manager was updated.

Agh, I made a mistake putting in my address and I keep getting an error trying to edit it. Any luck calling? I'm dying to find out.

yes, just call. they just batter you with hundreds of questions and they will tell you if a package is coming or not
