can anyone shed light on how often the UVA waves are? I thought it was every Tuesday/Wednesday but I may be confusing it with another school

Not sure about this but it does seem like there are consistent waves. My acceptance came on a Tuesday.

Any consensus on the turnaround time after interviews? Sounds like it can take a while...

My numbers are hardly impressive for UVA, so I'm kind of stunned they invited me to interview. Ugh it just makes me want them more!

Good thing! During mine the interviewer said they like to interview candidates that they are seriously considering.

ETA: Though it definitely does not mean an auto-in. People have def been rejected after interviewing.

Interview (IMO, and I haven't had one) seems to be going to people they want to admit, but they want to gauge your interest in UVA and/or get to know you a bit more first. Basically I would love to be in your position.

Probably. Although my interviewer did say something along the lines of, "We want this process to be as transparent as process, so lmk/email if you have any questions...."

Have there been any admits this week so far? Maybe they're saving it for Thurs/Fri.

yeah I think still okay to wait - we got used to the 1-5 day timeline early on but the cycle is ramping up. Could be no more calls and just snail mail in the new year..Anyone have experience with other schools on interview follow-up? Ping after 2-3 weeks if no word?

ETA: Haven't seen any admits on LSN either
