Re: Georgetown c/o 2018 Applicants
I've never had a requirements list - its blank - but my application is completed. Anyone else have this issue?

Perhaps the requirements list appears for KJDs...accessislife wrote:I've never had a requirements list - its blank - but my application is completed. Anyone else have this issue?

Y'all need to sit back and relax.
The requirements of final transcripts and such appear after you've been accepted, and they seem to be tied to show up after the letter from Georgetown appears in the mail. It's not just for KJDs, it's just for those who have already been admitted.

Well that's just silly. It's not like it's going to change or anything...WhiskeyAndCupcakes wrote:Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you pretty much always have to send an official transcript (not from LSAC) to the school you choose to attend.smccgrey wrote:Weird that they want your transcript then! It will if you are in your final year of undergrad when you apply.ChemEng1642 wrote:Well that's just silly. Not necessarily, at least for international applicants, once you accept and enroll in a particular program, then LSAC will forward your original file to that school.ChemEng1642 wrote:Well that's just silly. LSAC will not hold your originals, this happened to me: I enrolled a few years ago into an LLM, a few months ago, when I started the JD application I had to go thru the entire process of submitting originals once again; I contacted LSAC to understand whether they would be able to use my processed information (from my LLM application) and they explain that after enrollment they forward original to the school. This might be the answer to the requirements list...IMHO

Right but I'm saying it's odd that they ask it from people who graduated already and are definitely not going to have a different transcript but whatever becauselane wrote:It will if you are in your final year of undergrad when you apply.ChemEng1642 wrote:Well that's just silly. I got a request for interview, IIRC this is a bad thing right? I'm below 25th GPA but above 75th LSAT.

Got it, ty. Also my work desktop is just a rotation of puppies wearing seasonally appropriate/festive things.smccgrey wrote:Lolling at both of the puppies in hats.
But everyone has claimed that it's neither bad nor good - they just want additional information about you.
