Eat it, everyone who says softs don't matter.

Military is one of the few softs that DO matter.

In! RD as well. Complete early October.
Anyone get any scholarship offers in the RD pool? Wondering if this was included or will come later.

PM for more info on WE, softs. They are significant as I'm quite non-trad.
Congrats to the other admits! And to those held/dinged...hang in there. All the best wishes for the rest of your cycle & for coming off of hold at NU!

snapdragon25 wrote:**Dear everyone with questions**
When your status checker says "decision letter available within 24 hours", go to the same status checker link:
https://www.law.northwestern.edu/form/a ... _entry.cfm
Click "Decision Letter Delivery System" at the bottom, then enter your information. You'll continue to get an error message until your letter is uploaded, usually an hour or two after your status changes.
Sincerely,
Your friendly neighborhood re-applicant
Good luck all!!!!!
this is how i found out, my status checker said decision will be available soon

So...as an ED hold, should I expect to wait until at least after the new year to hear about a regular decision? I'm sure there's very little data on this. But an educated guess, anyone?

I see now. I think I was too stressed when reading it the first time and missed it. Thanks!

If your status has changed to "Decision..." then you will get it. For some reason their Decision Letter Delivery System displays an error until it comes through. Just disregard the error and continue refreshing.

Did you follow the link in the email?
Mine also said the decision would be available after 6pm (I'm assuming Chicago time, they don't specify). So you have about 12 minutes before you can legitimately start to worry...

are you all receiving acceptance emails? Or are you seeing your status checker change? Just wondering how it works.

The email just indicated a decision had been made, and gave a link to a separate page you log into (not the normal status checker) to download your decision letter.

IN! Got the email indicating decision made at 5:48 tonight, don't know when exactly my status changed but it must have been after 4 pm today when I last checked.
RD- went complete early Oct. like the 1st-5th (can't remember exactly)
Didn't interview, K-JD but with a lot of research and teaching experience
3.7x/170

Congrats everyone!
Has anyone with RD complete in mid-November gotten a decision yet, or is it all earlier applicants?
