In, but no $$ offer. I'm a Portland native and looking to come back here, although open to changing my mind. I got an 80% scholarship from Lewis & Clark in Portland, much lower ranked but all my ties are here and it's the best law school in OR.

Thoughts? Anyone negotiated with UCLA successfully for $$? Or know if they have good loan forgiveness programs? Leaning heavily toward Lewis & Clark right now.

GPA is above 75, LSAT is between 25-50

Honestly I would contact them tomorrow! I emailed the professor that interviewed me several times and also wrote in depth LOCIs. He recommended me very highly so I'm sure that helped my case as well. Best of luck to everyone!!

super congratulations! I'm WL right now, too. i submitted my app late in the cycle, and heard back 3/15. did you hear back soon after your 2nd LOCI?

This is crazy, but also IN TODAY off the waitlist. Waitlisted 1/14/14 and just got the call today, also accepted to the Epstein program. No word on financial aid, which I assume is not a good sign. I am in shock though. It's mid-March and they are already making offers off the waitlist.
(Also, I didn't send a LOCI).

Either way I am so happy to have this option! Amazing. Congrats to the other poster admitted to the CRS program today. Fantastic news!

Thanks! Now I can finally wear that UCLA LAW shirt I bought four years ago when I naively visited and thought I had a chance of getting in my first cycle. Seriously. Wearing the shirt as I type.

Anyways, if there is movement on the waitlist that means that they must be re-reviewing everyone, right? Sorry to people still waiting on their initial decision. If it's any consolation, I am too at a few other schools. Waits are so grueling.

I submitted 1/06, went complete about a week later, waitlisted on 2/12, sent first LOCI on 2/15 I believe, campus tour 3/7, second LOCI on 3/9, follow up email to professor on 3/16, admitted 3/17. I still can't believe it.

But Dean Schwartz probably thinks I'm a freak. I pretty much cried when he told me I had been admitted and almost dropped my cup of coffee. I was in Starbucks. Awkward. lol
