My status checker did change to DR already. Not sure about whether they do decisions in waves or not, though.anonymous092 wrote:Wow, congrats everyone!! Does the status change from UR to DR on the day that you receive an acceptance email? Also, does Berkeley send out acceptances in a wave, or if we were going to hear back today would it have happened already?

Re: UC Berkeley c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014)
Fun Fact:
Berkeley saw that I registered for the February LSAT, and decided to put my application on hold until my score comes in.
Now I have to REALLY destroy this retake.
Awesome.

Got it today. Went complete on 6th. GPA> 75 LSAT= 75. Did not expect a decision so early so I screamed when I saw an email sent so early (sent 8:00 PST).
I'm not sure whether it has to do with the decision, but I did my undergrad at the school.

Berk acceptances thus far are geared toward people with crazy numbers/URMS. What's up with that?

Or... they are taking in people they don't care about to hold up the #s. They are foundation. They keep the house together, but they are boring and unseen.
They are waiting to drywall, paint, and furnish the place with all of us interesting people with whom they want to spend time everyday.
Like when you were a kid and you'd eat the green beans first cuz "they're important," but really you're just waiting to smash some macaroni and cheese.

Seems like they're accepting as many 170+ LSATs as they can..the rest of us are going to have to wait a bit longer

Looks like they've finally succumbed to that LSAT pressure. The last bastion of lawl school hope is gone.omzster67 wrote:Seems like they're accepting as many 170+ LSATs as they can..the rest of us are going to have to wait a bit longer

Ah, this worries me. Mine went complete around the same time. I'm probably headed to Dingville.hellomellow wrote:In!! My app became complete on the 10th

Do not think thats the case. I am a non-URM between 25th and 50th LSAT and above 75th GPA. Got in some time ago. (I did, however, submit early in the cycle—late November).ohpobrecito wrote:Berk acceptances thus far are geared toward people with crazy numbers/URMS. What's up with that?
Hang in there. I'm sure your admit decision is coming soon.
