I submitted 01/08, and am still waiting for a status checker. From what I understand, it's normal to wait a little while to get it from Stanford.

I submitted 1/2 and I it says my file has been submitted for review, so I'm calling that UR. Just got it today though, so if you submitted 1/8 i'd look to next week for sure.

Yep, I'm a 1/3 submit and JUST received it yesterday, so I wouldn't worry if you're still waiting if it's been <3 weeks.

is that the same thing as UR?

There are only 19 acceptances on LSN. Assuming LSN is 10% of total applicants (I've heard this figure before on TLS but I may be wrong), that's exactly half of how many people they will end up accepting. Further, only two applicants from November have been accepted, and one was a URM with a 3.99 GPA. I guarantee acceptances aren't over, including for November folks (and potentially for earlier).

Looking at last cycle's LSN, it looks like the first wave of dings was the last week of January/first week of February. It looks like yesterday Harvard dinged or held nearly every remaining application so I'm sure Stanford will be doing the same soon.

FWIW, Stanford responded to my email today at 3 PM CST so they seem to be working 12/7, or at least their minions are.

Yes. Once they review the file and deem it complete, the forward it onto review.

I realize the correct answer might be "it depends", but is there a general consensus on which "complete" grouping one is in if they requested their app to be held for future LSAT scores?

Example: submit 11/25, "app received" email 11/29, complete 12/17, take December LSAT, updated with score 1/15.

In this case, should I be paying attention to applicants on the mid-December-complete timeline, the mid-January-complete timeline, or some sort of hybrid mid-December-complete-but-December-LSAT timeline?

mylsn.info has some January applicants getting Acceptances in January (or at least that's what I think the timeline meant)... I don't think there is rhyme or reason to decision dates except for if they like you or not. Rough wait.
