WL today. I applied with a 2.42/167

Any idea of how much BC uses the WL (ie chance of coming off of it?)

I'm really sorry confusedlaw. This is very sad to me. We had such a similar profile. I think it's true that BC is one of the less predictable schools, unfortunately. Best of luck to you going forward.

I also went complete over a month ago and still zero movement. BC is just making sure they have enough money to offer us both full rides, NBD;)

Don't know about overall percentage chance, or consideration for your specific case/numbers-- but the current BC 3L I met with last month (also a TLS member) was admitted off the WL.

Checking in after trolling this thread since applying early December:

Went UR 1/11 and nothing since. I've heard back from all but one other school, but it looks like many are in a similar position with respect to BC. Good luck to all those still waiting...

I just got in the other day with nearly identical stats. IIRC I did discuss BC a bit in my personal statement/optional essay, so maybe that helped me out.

Ya I'm guessing YP. I'm from Boston and I probably would have gone there with some money. Didn't put anything BC specific in my application though.

If it is indeed a YP type of WL, then money is probably still very much in the picture if you submit a LOCI that talks about why you would like to go to BC, etc.

I'm glad I'm not the only one... it seemed really odd to have been under review this whole time without status changes. Luckily, I have other offers at this point and don't care what BC does.
