I submitted 10/1 or 10/2 and I've been "complete" since 10/27. Given, I did have an interview, but I wouldn't entirely rely on submission date.

Oh, and I submitted 10/28 and went complete on 10/31.

Sent 10/28, Received 10/28, Complete 10/31, Updated 11/14.
I am so happy for everyone who has gotten in so far, but it is discouraging to have the same status dates as others and to still not hear anything...

Hopefully for those of are that are still waiting with the above dates will hear back soon. I thought Georgetown usually took a month, but some people are hearing back so fast!

This may have already been answered, but what's the interview situation? Is that for people close to medians or splitters or do they want to interview everyone if possible? If the former, when do people usually hear that they need to interview?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
I can't answer when people are "supposed" to hear because I think it also probably depends on when you submit your app. I submitted super early so it took them a few weeks to get back to me. My status updated once prior, and then I got the email on the day of the second status update. I believe it's for people who are borderline (I'm a splitter), and they want to make sure you are a real, personable candidate before they make a decision. All they say officially is that it's to "get to know a candidate better."

ITT seems like mostly splitters have gotten interview requests. Quite a few people were accepted without an interview.snehpets wrote:This may have already been answered, but what's the interview situation? This. I got a request an I'm a very light reverse splitter at Gulc. I think the stats were 80% admitted or priority wait list if you did an interview.quaker10 wrote:I can't answer when people are "supposed" to hear because I think it also probably depends on when you submit your app. I submitted super early so it took them a few weeks to get back to me. 10/25 submit, and now I'm stuck on 11/14 "Application Completed" (for better or worse) hopefully I'm in that group of admits on that day and my letter is in the mail and will be here between tomorrow and Tuesday.

+1 same exact dates. One of my recommenders forwarded me a thank you email he received from the Dean after 11/7 though. Is that pretty standard for all LORs?TheRedMamba wrote:Still stuck at 11/7 competed! Sent 11/1 complete 11/2, anyone else with similar dates stuck on 11/7?

Slightly earlier dates but stuck on 11/7. I think some people's LOR writers were contacted. Sounds like they've reviewed your file!ketchup wrote:+1 same exact dates.
