Yeah, but LSN also showed a spate of admits the week before Spring Break last year, and that didn't really pan out this year. But hopefully this week is a lots of movement week!

You see, this is my problem with some here on TLS. A 159 is a good score. Now, if you a sub-150 after extensive studying and whatnot, then I could see people saying stuff like this, but not with a 159.
Even sub 150, if you really want to be a lawyer i dont think the lsat is a reflection of anything. I decided to be a lawyer when i was 3 years old so a 146 or wutever< i dont even knwo how low it goes, would not have stopped me

Yeah, I'm not saying that's the advice I would give, but I can see how people here would say that if your LSAT score is below median for everybody that takes it, you should reevaluate. But I say f*ck it, your success in law school should depend on how motivated you are to succeed, not how well you did on a 4 hour test.

I agree, I know people who cheated their way all through highschool and college, then did great on their lsat and got in. Whereas there's others who studied really hard in college, had an amazing gpa, but weren't great standardized test takers and didn't get in. It really is unfair

That's such crap. It's one test, and some people don't test well (like me! I tend to talk myself out of the right answer choice...) Every law student I've talked to has told me that the LSAT is nothing like law school.

The LSAT is not necessarily an indicator of how well you will or will not do in law school, and if you're in the median range, that does NOT mean you're going to fail at being a lawyer. Just don't expect to work in corporate or something.

I know its a cop out but my biggest issue is I feel shitty everyday prior to about 9-10. And these darn LSATs are so early that my brain isnt even functioning through the first few sections. I think i could easily get atleast 3 points higher if i could just take the darn thing in the afternoon

I just saw on here that some people's first deposit is due 4/15? Why is mine due 4/1?

Agreed. I had a bad test room, too. My proctor couldn't even pronounce half of the words on the sheet... And her phone would vibrate and she would answer it IN THE ROOM in a "whisper" and walk out so she wouldn't "disturb" us. Too late. It was SO distracting.

I'm the opposite. I took the June one, and taking it in the middle of the day threw me off and I got a 154. Retook in October and got my 161, and I just felt better taking the test in the morning.

It might be because you got admitted a good bit earlier than anybody else. I would call and see if you're really worried about it.

My last test i had a chick with a cold. oh lord was that killing me all the coughing and sneezing and the sniffling that was the worst. The first time i took it i had a dude behind me really big guy and bless his heart he was a heavy breather i wanted to strangle him by the end of the test.

That would make sense i could see them doing something like that because he has already had longer to think about it and could free up some space. I actually think thats a really good idea for people who get admitted earlier, helps out the people bankin on the WL

Y'know, I kind of wish that I didn't know scholly money decisions were going out today. Then I could sit in ignorant bliss and just be pleasantly surprised when I got an email. But noooo... I have to sit here and refresh my email and status checker every 5 minutes.

Philosophy... question everything, and if that doesn't work, step back another level and question the methods or reasoning for whatever you are learning. Then throw in a big name or two and you can fall back asleep. 8)
